Lost Coast Brewing - Downtown Brown Ale

The aroma on this beer is sweet with a cooked malt.  It has a dark deep brown colour.  With a chocolate bitter malt at the start this beer is becomes quite light. It's interesting in that it starts out strong but doesn't hang around too long.  Fresh.

This is very dark thick looking beer.  The aroma is sour dark malt.  Flavour wise it is a very big and bitter beer.  I has dark sour chocolate prominently in the mix.  It's a hard beer to drink due to its strength and bitterness.
