4 Pines Brewing Company - Oaked Baltic Porter

There is a strong oak aroma with a black/red appearance.  I get a sweet chocolate with a coffee hit.  The is a subtle mustiness to it that is almost fizzy or zesty.  There's quite a bit going on here.

Fresh creamy aroma with a dark red/brown appearance.  Muted berry flavour.  The mouth feel is waxy but clean.  This is a fresh beer that has a fullness and roundness I wasn't expecting.

The aroma is like a sharp creaming soda.  The appearance a light apricot colour.  It's a smooth creamy beer with medium body.  Flavourwise it's like a hoppy creaming soda.  It's a really satisfying beer with a great mouth feel.

There is a clean sweet fruit aroma with a light clear appearance.  Flavourwise I get apricot with a light bitterness.  This is a really clean beer with a bright fruit flavour.  Vanilla is also sittibg at the back of the pallet.

A sweet citrus aroma with a brown/orange appearance.  There isn't alot of bitterness.  I get a vanilla and a light toasty malt.  This is a smooth balanced beer.

This has a big mouth feel but is pretty subtle.  There is a light bitter chocolate.  The favour seems to struggle to get out.  Didn't do much for me.

Golden syrup appearance.  this is a very hoppy.  It is a big beer with stone fruit notes.  Quire shocking at first but grew on me.  Like an Imperial ipa.

A sour chocolate aroma with a very dark red appearance.  This is a massive beer.  It has a sticky chocolate flavour with a strong sour berry at the end.  There is a strong cacao flavour with a dry bitterness.

Moon Dog Brewing - Holdin' Haytime Toffee-Vanilla-Chocolate-Honeycomb-ish Ale

The aroma is sweet sugary malt and the appearance is a dark red/brown.  This is a bitter sweet beer with a berry sour note.  There is a surprisingly strong coffee flavour.  This is a full on beer that is a bit too much for me.

The appearance is a really interesting golden orange and it smells amazing.  A creamy aroma with a hint of orange.  The bitterness quite round with a burnt caramel note.  In the background there is a pineapple note with a bit of sweet citrus.

Riverside Brewing Company - Othello's Curse Imperial Black India Pale Ale

Light Malt aroma with a dark rich brown.  This has a deep dark bitterness right up front with a smooth silky mouth feel.  There is a sour berry and chocolate in the mix.  It has a very fresh and creamy in the mouth.  This is very complex and interesting.

This is a super smokey beer.  Kind of like a bacon beer.  The first taste is quite full on but is gets better the more you drink it.  Creamy and rich.

This beer has creamy mouth feel a with buttery mouth feel.  Slightly bitter hops with toasty notes.  I also get cucumber and apricot.  A Tasty beer.

Sweet malty aroma and a deep black appearance.  This is a surprisingly spicy beer.  There is a slight mustiness like a barreled wine.  The malt and yeast is big in this beer.  There are alot of intersting things going in here.

Toasted coconut aroma with a dark chocolate appearance.  There is a dry floral chili right up front with chocolately malt flavour.  The coconut is really toasty and creamy.  This is a really interesting beer.

The aroma is quite subtle with only a slight berry aroma with a black appearance.  There is a sweet bitter malt up front.  There is an unpleasant sourness as an aftertaste.  The body is smooth a malty.

A fruity aroma with strong tangy notes.  It has a cherry wood apperance.  This tastes like a medium body port and is simply delicious.  This would be a fantastic cheese or chocolate.

The aroma is sugary and caramel.  This is a surprisingly dark beer for a summer ale.  The flavour is toasty coconut with caramel.  It us a light thin beer that is fresh.  It isn't like any summer ale I've had before.

There is a slight malt aroma but it is very fresh.  Off the bat this is just a really easy to drink beer but it's still really interesting.  There is complexity here but ultimately it's just a great drinking beer.
