Mountain Goat Brewery - Summer Ale

Number 6 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This is a very fruity beer.  I get stone fruit with cream.  It is not a big beer but quite restrained and subtile.  I'm not sure I'm sold on it but its a tasty beer.

The Australian Brewery - The Pale Ale

Number 61 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This is a beautiful beer.  It is cloudy with a nice smooth feel on the pallet.  It has a subtile citrus note with a clean and fresh flavour.

Doctors Orders Brewing - Defibrillator Weizen Doppelbock

This beer is really malty and wheaty.  There is slight touch of vanilla with a bit of citrus.  Sour.  Five spice.

4/10

Dennis Brewing Company - Milk Stout

Light on the pallet with a strong coffee hit.  This is pretty tasty.  Not creamy enough for me.

6/10

Doctors Orders - Electrolyte Forte

This is like tequila and salt with lemon.   This is a fucking mad beer.  It is so in your face and pretty unpleasant.

2/10

Mcarthur Grange Brewery - IPA

I really like this beer.  Vanilla with a nice citrus tartness.  A slight note of malt and fruit.

8/10

Mcarthur Grange Brewery - Rebel Ale

Tart on the mouth and quite round.  Slightly sickly. Banana and Vanilla with light acid.

Mountain Goat Brewery - Steam Ale

Very neutral.  Fruit nose but not alot on the pallet.

4/10

Mountain Goat Brewery - IPA

Really sour and fizzy.  Not a fan.  It is a really weird mix.  Very sharp.

3/10

Murray's Craft Brewing Company - Fred

Sour and tart with a creamy feel.  Big on the mouth like a red ale.

8/10

Murray's Craft Brewing Company - Moon Boy

Banana and citrus.  Fresh but very short on the pallet.  Tart and crisp.

6/10

Riverside Brewing Company - 777 Imperial IPA

Musty vanilla with peach and pear.  Creamy and slippery on the pallet.  A delicious beer.

8/10

Six String Brewing Company - Pretzelweizen German Hefeweizen

Fizzy and sharp with a sweet citris front.  Is very clean and is kind of like a sparking wine in texture.

6/10

Blackhorse Brewhouse - Seasonal Steam Ale

Vanilla and cinnamon.  Creamy and sweet.  It reminded me of egg nog.

7/10

Wayward Brewing Company - Chockwocky Dopplebocky Black Forrest Dopplebock

Chocolate and coffee with a bit of raspberry.   A bit sickly though.

6/10

Six String Brewing Company - Dark Red IPA

Number 55 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

Fatty on the mouth.  Quite sour.  With prominent hops and a waxy mouth feel.

6/10

Nomad Brewing Co - Pale Ale

Creamy with a slight mint note.  It has a fairly big mouth feel.  Crisp with a bit of citrus.

5/10

Maclaren - EXP White Coffee Stout

This beer is so confusing.  It looks like a golden ale but tastes like a vanilla coffee. There is alot of grain.  A really exciting beer.

8/10

Endevour Beverages - Seasonal Red Ale

This beer has a round a slippery feel in the mouth.  Light hops  with apple and vanilla.

Big Sky Brewing Co - Big Sky IPA

This is a bright IPA.  It has a nice bitterness at the start and a tasty fruit flavour.

7/10

Morning Peninsula Brewery - IPA

Number 74 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This beer has a sour milk flavour which might sound bad but it's ok.  Not great but ok.  It isn't something I would revisit or really recommend.

4/10

Mornington Peninsula Brewery - Pale Ale

Number 99 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This is a really flavourful beer.  I get a really strong orange and creamy flavour.  It reminds me of summer like an orange sorbet.

8/10

Riverside Brewing Company - 88 Robust Porter

The first thing I will say about this is that the nose id a bit tough so keep it in the bottle.  But the beer is much better than it smells.  It is slightly sour with a crisp coffee note.  It has a warm yeastiness.

Holgate Brewhouse - Temptress Chocolate Porter

Number 13 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This beer has a really heavy malt flavor.  I also got charcoal and smoke from it.  It feels a slight bit slippery.  Ok but not all the good parts are in the ESB.

5/10

Holgate Brewhouse - ESB Extra Special Bitter

Number 70 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

I get burnt caramel and cream from this beer.  I really like one but it is quite short on the pallet which is a bit of a letdown.

Holgate Brewhouse - Road Trip American IPA

Number 18 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This is a very sour beer that has very brief on the pallet.  It doesn't gave you very much in all honesty.

3/10

Holgate Brewhouse - Mt Macedon Pale Ale

Number 13 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This beer is creamy with a nice mandarin note.  It is a really clean beer that is really nice to drink.  Very enjoyable.
