Matilda Bay Brewing Company - Cloudy Ale

Sharp on the front.   Round with almond a creamy. Didn't really like it..  like a creamy larger.

3/10

Sixpoint Brewery - The Crisp

Strangely the first thing that comes to mind is corn for some reason with thus beer.  It starts with a nice sharpness on the front and round out with a subtle creaminess.

5/10

Sixpoint Brewery - Sweet Action

This beer gives nothing on the pallet and is just gone.  It kind of teases but doesn't deliver.  It begins with a nice citrus note but thats it really.

4/10

Mornington Peninsula Brewery - Brown Ale

A creamy beer with a really nice malt hit with a bit of bitterness.  The favour rounds out to a very slight burnt caramel.

6/10

Brewcult - Can't Fight The Funk Farmhouse IPA

Number 82 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

Almost sickly milk and cream flavour with an oddly dairy mouth feel.  Mehh...

4/10

Brewcult - Hop Zone Session IPA

Number 52 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This beer is very immediate and doesn't stick around on the pallet.   It his a pleasant citrus flavour but does have enough presence to be too memorable.

6/10

Cricketers Arms - Keepers Lager

Though this beer is light and crisp it is a big beer.  It is stilll very drinkable but has a slightly weird oaky after taste.

5/10

Nomad Brewing Co - Long Trip Saison

This a very round beer that brought a dessert to mind.  Not sure why but it did.  Another really rounded beer from Nomad with a nice mouth feel.  Almond and Apple come through.

7/10

Nomad Brewing Co. - Jet Lag IPA

A really slippery and creamy beer with an almost lager note.  This is a very bold IPA with nice Melon and Vanilla notes.

7/10

Dennis Brewing Company - Rocket Science Mad Hatter American IPA

Number 20 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This is a smooth and crisp beer with rounded malt.  It is really fresh with a subtle citrus.  A great summer drop.

Stone & Wood Brewing Company - Jasper Ale

Number 53 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.
This is quite a complex beer.  It doesn't give alot away straight away.  It starts with a nice bitter note.  It has a nice creamy malty almond flavour.  That being said it is short on the pallet.
7/10

Stone & Wood Brewing Company - Pacific Ale

Number 02 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.
I'll say that this is a fantastic beer and was a relief after not enjoying the other Stone & Wood beer I've tried.  This beer is fruity with a beautiful peach flavour.  There is also a great creamy vanilla texture and feel to it.
8/10

Stone & Wood Brewing Company - Stone Beer Dark Wheat Ale

Number 42 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.
This beer is tough to drink.  It is huge and all of the flavours are aggressive.  If I was asked to describe this this beer it would be BURNT MALT.  It's bitter with a prominent texture.  The more I drank it the better it got but if you came back to it after a few minutes you're pallet will get punched around again.
3/10

Stone & Wood Brewing Company - Lager

Number 83 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

I'm really not a fan of Lagers and this beer didn't change my mind.  The word that came to mind when I  first tried it was dishwater.   I guess really washy.  It has no presence on the pallet.  Not for me.

Lord Nelson Brewery - Three Sheets Pale Ale

Number 28 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.
This is a complex pake ale.  I get mandarin and peach in this.   It feels slightly sticky and sluppery in the mouth.

Maclaren Vale Brewing Company - Larger

Number 89 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This is not like any larger I have had before.  It is crisp, clean and fresh.  It sits really well on the pallet.   But the after taste is the real star here.  I get orange or lemon with a subtle sharpness.  This beer is well worth your time.

Feral Brewing Company - Barrique Okarma Oaked India Black Ale

Number 33 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This beer is pretty large and has alot going on. The opening notes are sweet and sour and in it become tart and malty.  In the background there is cherry.  This is a really full on beer.  Complex and interesting.
