Garage Project - Trip Hop Pale Ale

This beer has a sweet bitter flavour at the start.  It has a really nice bed of caramel malt that is slightly floral.  Being a malty beer its still a surprisingly light beer.

Garage Project - Death From Above Pale Ale

This is a really interesting beer.  There is a yeasty creaminess to this beer but it is clean.  It has a crisp citrus note at the start and a mild warming chilli flavour at the end.

This is really well drinking beer.   There us nothjng exciting about this beer apart from the fact it's is tasty and great on a hot day.

This is quite a malty beer with a mild citrus notes.  It has quite a sharp yeast flavour and a full body.

Fijoia and with a sharp creaminess.  It is clean with a fresh sharp flavour.

Number 47 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

Every yeasty beer.  Creamy body with stone fruit.  It is quite sour.  It is quite a big beer.

Sour cream with a light peach note.  Round vanilla creamy like ice cream.

Number 98 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

Very tart and has an odd mouth feel.   Waxy with with a clean finish.   Not a fan.

Lychee and yeast up front.  Nice medium body with almond.

Creamy with a bit of citrus.  Not alot of flavour and not that bitter.

Mornington Peninsula Brewery - Imperial Stout

Number 65 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This is a massive beer.  I would almost class it as a meal.  The best way to describe it is a thick choclate Guiness.   Delicious but a big big beer.

Number 41 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

Smooth and thick stout.  Creamy kind of like a chocolate syrup.  Slight bitterness at the back of the pallet.  Tasty.

Moon Dog Brewing - Black Lung IV American Oak-Aged Smokey Stout

Number 84 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

There is alot if smoke in this beer.  There is a charcoal malt that has some nice texture.  Coffee and burnt toffee.

Garage Project - Tournesol Spiced Saison

Buttery and floural with slight spice.  There is a round yeast.  Kind of creamy and citrus.

8 Wired Brewing Company - Smoked Porter

This a bacon beer essentially.  It has dark coffee at the front and a deep malt.  It is very smokey with a nice saltiness.

Garage Project - Day Of The Dead

Opens with a dark malt and with a chili kick at back of the mouth.  It  has a deep chocolate creaminess.  Would be great with chocolate.

Strong red berry with a tartness like a port. Slightly peaty.

Yeast and cream with a tart lemon and grapefruit.  Sweet and sour.

I get smokey fijoa.  The is a slight waxy feel to it.  The smoke is quite strong with a slight oakiness.

Grifters Brewing Co - Swill Of The Gods Scotch Ale

Sweat malt with a slight peat.  Burnt caramel and a deep coffee note.  A delicious blend of beer and a liquer.  It has a midsize body and isn't too heavy.  This is an absolutely amazing beer.

This is quite a clean beer which is particularly nice on hot day like today.  It has a deep level of creaminess.  There is a slight sharpness at the back of the mouth.

Bridge Road Brewers - Aurora Borealis II

Number 9 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

It has a warmness like a sherry or port and a strong berry flavour.  There is a bit of peat not alot.  It has a complex richness which is really interesting.   This is a fantastic beer.

The best way to describe this is a fruit salad beer.  It drinks very well.  Slightly sticky with layers of fruit.

Super sour.  Like a sour lollie I ate as kid.  But it Is actually a fairly drinkable beer.  Would be good on a hot day with fish.

Toffee and caramel with some sweet berry notes.  Burnt sugar and Apple.

Full bolded beer with a light malt.  Fruity like a dark citrus.  Waxy mouth feel.

Very prominet lemon flavour.  It really tastes like a lager to me.  A slight tang on the back of the pallet.  Slight fatty mouth feel.

This is super fresh and clean.  There is a fairly significant tang up front followed by a mellow malt.  Definitely a grower.

Mountain Goat Brewery - India Pale Ale

Number 39 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

The big flavour I get from this beer is honey.  It's a really interesting beer with a little sharpness and a slight citrus note.  It's fresh and fairly light.  A summer beer.

Number 27 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This beer has a sour and tart flavour with a bit of sweetness.   It feels pretty thin as far as mouth feel goes.  The tang stays in your mouth for a while.

Mountain Goat Brewery - Summer Ale

Number 6 of the Local Taphouses Top 100 Australian Craft Beers.

This is a very fruity beer.  I get stone fruit with cream.  It is not a big beer but quite restrained and subtile.  I'm not sure I'm sold on it but its a tasty beer.

This is a beautiful beer.  It is cloudy with a nice smooth feel on the pallet.  It has a subtile citrus note with a clean and fresh flavour.

This beer is really malty and wheaty.  There is slight touch of vanilla with a bit of citrus.  Sour.  Five spice.

Light on the pallet with a strong coffee hit.  This is pretty tasty.  Not creamy enough for me.

This is like tequila and salt with lemon.   This is a fucking mad beer.  It is so in your face and pretty unpleasant.

I really like this beer.  Vanilla with a nice citrus tartness.  A slight note of malt and fruit.

Tart on the mouth and quite round.  Slightly sickly. Banana and Vanilla with light acid.
